Men’s & Women’s Tennis Teams Earn ITA All-Academic Awards

11 Golden Bears receive individual Scholar-Athlete recognition

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (July 24, 2019) – The Western New England University women's and men's tennis programs were both recognized for their success in the classroom this past season with All-Academic Team awards from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

The ITA's All-Academic Team awards are presented to college tennis programs with a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or above during the 2018-19 academic year.

Additionally, 11 Golden Bears were recognized for their individual academic performance with ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition. Student-athletes are required to have a 3.50 cumulative GPA to achieve this honor.
