WNE will open their season on home turf, welcoming crosstown rival Springfield College to Golden Bear Stadium on Saturday, February 25 at 12:00 pm. Women's lacrosse will then travel to Keene State College, where the Golden Bears have taken the past five meetings from the Owls, including a 16-6 win last season on February 28. WNE will then shift their focus to Westfield State University on Thursday, March 2 at 5:00 pm, as Western New England looks to get back at the Owls from their defeat last season. WNE will then host Smith College (March 4) and Husson University (March 9) before setting out for Spring Break.

The Golden Bears will play two games in Florida for their annual Spring Break trip, this year taking on Clarkson University (March 13) at St. Leo University in St. Leo, Florida, and Rowan University (March 17) at Webber University in Babson Park, Florida. After three days off, WNE heads back up north and returns to play at Worcester State University on March 21 at 5:00 pm. This will begin a three-game road trip for the Golden Bears, which will also start Commonwealth Coast Conference play for WNE. The Golden Bears will meet Roger Williams University (March 29) and University of New England (April 1) on the road to begin CCC play. The women's lacrosse team will open CCC play at Golden Bear Stadium, which begins a four game homestand for WNE on Tuesday, April 4 at 4:00 pm when the Colonels from Curry College make a visit to Springfield. Wentworth Institute of Technology (April 8), Eastern Connecticut State University (April 11) and Gordon College (April 15) will all pay visits to Golden Bear Stadium in that stretch.

Western New England will close out their 2023 regular season schedule with two road games, followed by their final home game of the regular season. The Golden Bears will venture to both Salve Regina University (April 18) and Endicott College (April 22) before hosting Nichols College (April 26) to round out the regular season.

CCC playoffs will begin on Saturday, April 29th with the top seed in the conference receiving a bye, while the next seven teams will face off in the quarterfinals. The semifinals will be held on Wednesday, May 3, while the championship game will take place on Saturday, May 6 between the two remaining semifinal winners.
