Western New England set to face second-seed Plymouth State in ECAC First Round

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Western New England women’s volleyball team has earned the seventh-seed in the upcoming ECAC Division III New England Championship, and will be traveling to second-seeded Plymouth State on Wednesday (Nov. 9) at 7:00 p.m. in the First Round.
 
The Golden Bears (15-14) reached the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) semifinals before falling to eventual champion Roger Williams.
 
Plymouth State (23-10) was the runner-up in the Little East Conference (LEC) Tournament after earning a share of the regular season championship.
 
The other first round ECAC matches include #8 Framingham State (19-13) at #1 U.S. Coast Guard Academy (23-6); #6 Emmanuel (21-15) at #3 Endicott (15-15); and #5-seed Salve Regina (16-13) at #4-seed Keene State (18-13).

Semifinals – Saturday, Nov. 12 at highest remaining seed
No. 1/No. 8 winner vs. No. 4/No. 5 winner, 11 a.m.
No. 2/No. 7 winner vs. No. 3/No. 6 winner, 2 p.m.
 
Championship –Saturday, Nov. 12 at highest remaining seed
Two Semifinal Winners, 5 p.m.
