Start of CCC Women's Volleyball Tournament Pushed Back a Day

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--Commonwealth Coast Conference commissioner Gregg M. Kaye Monday announced a delay in the start of the women's volleyball league tournament, as a result of the possible severe weather associated with Hurricane Sandy. The University of New England and Western New England University were to meet in a No. 5-4 matchup on Tuesday, but now that match has been rescheduled for Wednesday (7 p.m.) at the Alumni Healthful Living Center field house on the WNE campus.

The CCC and its member institutions will continue to monitor the rapidly-changing weather conditions in New England.  Additional updates will be posted on the conference website as they occur:
