Western New England College comes up short against Endicott in TCCC action

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Western New England College women's volleyball team came up short against host Endicott 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-20) Wednesday night (Oct. 8).

The Golden Bears fall to 8-10 overall and 1-5 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC).

Junior outside hitter Rachel Cervone (West Springfield, MA) had eight kills and 17 digs for WNEC while sophomore setter Katharina Boes (Buffalo Grove, IL) added 19 assists.

Junior outside hitter Steph Wiese (Higganum, CT) led the Gulls with 11 kills and nine digs. Senior defensive specialist Brittany Nolan (Monroe, CT) contributed 15 digs and two service aces.

Endicott, which had 10 blocks in the match, raises its record to 15-8 overall and remains unbeaten in TCCC with a 6-0 mark.
