Kalmer, Kohut & Surawski Compete at ITA New England Regionals

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (October 2, 2017) – Junior Justin Kohut (South Windsor, Conn.) and sophomores David Kalmer (Slingerlands, N.Y.) and Luke Surawski (Wethersfield, Conn.) of the Western New England University men's tennis team competed in the ITA New England Regional Championships over the weekend at Middlebury College.

Surawski fell to Alex Taylor of Williams College, 6-1, 6-0, while Kalmer dropped a 6-3, 6-0 decision to Ananth Raghavan, also of Williams.

In the doubles bracket, Kalmer and Kohut were defeated by Middlebury's duo of Noah Farrell and Peter Martin, who went on to reach the tournament final.
