Golden Bears Fall to Hamline, 8-1

ORLANDO, Fla. (March 22, 2018) – The Western New England University men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback to Hamline (Minn.) University on Thursday at the Lake Cane Tennis Center.

Hamline opened up a 3-0 lead in the match with wins at all three doubles flights.

The Pipers were also victorious at five of the six singles positons, with sophomore Griffin Arnold (Meriden, Conn.) providing the Golden Bears' lone win in the match with his 6-4, 0-6, 15-13 triumph over Blake Kuether at No. 6.

Western New England (2-1) will wrap up its spring break trip tomorrow against Brooklyn College.
