Western New England Splits with Hunter & Williams
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (January 26, 2019) – The Western New England University wrestling team split a tri-meet with Williams College and Hunter College on Saturday afternoon at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.
The Golden Bears defeated Hunter 36-12, before falling to Williams 27-14. Williams went 2-0 on the day, as the Ephs topped Hunter 40-6 in the first match.
Western New England was led by senior Josh Nelson (Bristol, Conn.), junior John Boyle (Rowley, Mass.) and sophomores Nick Arborio (Berlin, Conn.) and Ryan Monteiro (Wilbraham, Mass.), who all went 2-0.

Western New England (7-6) will be back in action next Saturday, when the Golden Bears travel to Trinity College for a tri-meet with the Bantams and the University of Southern Maine.
