WENHAM, Mass. (October 12, 2019) – The Western New England University men's soccer team conceded an early goal that led to an eventual 3-0 loss in CCC action at Gordon College on Saturday evening.
Top Performers
Gordon had a trio of goalscorers - freshman Ben Mollenhauer (Burlington, Mass), freshman Brett Ramsey (Deltona, Fla.), and sophomore Jarvin Ramirez (Milton, Ga.). Ramirez also tallied an assist.
Game Review
Gordon opened the scoring early into the match. Mollenhauer scored within the first nine minutes off of a pass from Ramirez.
Gordon extended their lead to 2-0 inside the first 19 minutes of the match through a solo effort from Ramsey.
Gordon grabbed their final tally of the night in the early portion of the second half with Ramirez finishing with an unassisted goal.
