Bryan Doyle Named to United Soccer Coaches All-New England Third Team

United Soccer Coaches Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior defender Bryan Doyle (Southington, Conn.) of the Western New England University men's soccer team has earned United Soccer Coaches All-New England third team recognition, the organization announced on Monday.

Doyle, the first Golden Bear to be named All-Region since Troy Remillard in 2017, is among five student-athletes from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) to receive All-New England accolades.

The three-time All-CCC selection was a first team honoree this fall after starting all 17 of the matches he appeared in and anchoring a defensive unit that recorded 11 shutouts. Doyle also chipped in offensively with one goal and two assists.

Doyle, who was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for the second consecutive season, started 70 of the 76 games he appeared in over his four-year career.

All-New England selections are made based on a vote of coaches across the region. Overall, 40 student-athletes were named to the All-New England teams.
