Golden Bears Compete at Ursinus College Fall Brawl

Boyle leads Golden Bears with second place finish at 184

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. (November 12, 2016) – The Western New England University wrestling team was back in action today at Ursinus College's annual Fall Brawl.

Top Performers
• Freshman John Boyle (Rowley, Mass.) continued the strong start to his collegiate career, finishing second in the 184-pound bracket. Boyle went 2-1 on the day, with both of his wins coming by decision. His only loss, a 5-3 decision, came at the hands of Delaware Valley's Benjamin Schweiger, a 2015-16 national qualifier.
• Junior Lamont Wallace (New Rochelle, N.Y.) reached the semifinals at 149, going 3-2 on the day.
• Freshman Keith Houghtaling (Selkirk, N.Y.) also reached the semifinals at 285, while senior Brian Donovan (Manchester, Conn.) went 2-2 at 197.
