Brian Donovan Earns Pilgrim League All-Star Honorable Mention Recognition

Seven Golden Bears named to Pilgrim League Scholar-Athlete All-Star Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 28, 2017) – Senior Brian Donovan (Manchester, Conn.) of the Western New England University wrestling team has been named a Pilgrim League All-Star Honorable Mention selection, it was announced last week.

Donovan, who served as a team co-captain this past season, went 27-12 at the 197-pound weight class during his senior campaign and was recognized as a Scholar All-American by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). A marketing-communication/advertising major with a 3.38 cumulative grade point average, Donovan was also among seven Golden Bears to be named to the Pilgrim League Scholar-Athlete All-Star Team.
