Gresis & Price Lead Golden Bears at NEWA Futures Tournament

Freshmen place fourth in their respective weight classes

BRISTOL, R.I. (February 18, 2018) –
Ten members of the Western New England University wrestling team competed on Sunday at the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Futures Tournament, hosted by Roger Williams University. 

Freshmen Chris Gresis (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) and Daniel Price (Nyack, N.Y.) led the way for the Golden Bears, as they both placed fourth at 157 and 184 pounds, respectively.

Junior Josh Nelson (Bristol, Conn.) won his first two bouts before finishing sixth at 174.
