Buonasera! For our fourth day, we traveled to the Cinque Terra, the region of five lands, where we enjoyed beautiful ocean views, many little shops and more of Italy's famous foods. After two stops and a few train rides we got to perform in our first friendly game against the professional Amicizia Lagaccio team and we came out with a 3-1 victory. Congratulations to Amanda Gagnon, Kaeli Serafino, and Dani Dixon for scoring our first three goals on international soil!

Our next stop on day five of the trip continued to the city of Pisa where the true tourists came out as we one-by-one took turns holding up the leaning tower of Pisa. It was a quick trip to the small city that is home to the creator of Pinocchio. Of course, this visit would not have been complete without gelato! After this we loaded the bus for a four hour trip to the wonderful land of San Marino.

To start day six we trekked over two-thousand kilometers in the air and arrived at the most amazing view yet. The Grand Hotel sits in the Republic of San Marino and looks over the beautiful countryside. Here we hiked through a tour to reach a view even higher. Following the tour, we shopped 'til we dropped then returned to the hotel to grab our bus for a pizza making class. The class consisted of a tutorial on how to make the perfect Italian dough, followed by a chance to make our own delicious lunch. Next, we headed to the beach to cure our pizza comas by relaxing on the sands of the Adriatic Sea. Once refreshed and hungry again, we made our way to a three-course dinner at a local restaurant where we were served delicious dishes. This long day has left us exhausted and heading to bed while looking forward to our morning team run on the curvy and steep streets of San Marino. Speaking of, its time to rest up!

Ciao Bella!
