Golden Bears Compete at ITA Regionals

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. (October 1, 2016) – Three members of the Western New England University men's tennis team were in action yesterday at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) New England Regional Championships, hosted by Williams College.

In singles action, sophomore Justin Kohut (South Windsor, Conn.) fell to Tanner DeVarennes of Springfield College by a 6-1, 6-2 score, while freshman Mihir Nadig (Allen, Tex.) was defeated 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 by Wheaton College's Jeremiah Ryser.

Nadig also competed in doubles, teaming up with classmate David Kalmer (Slingerlands, N.Y.). The freshmen duo dropped an 8-3 decision to Dan Levitan and Ben Roque of Babson College.
