Ryan Zogby Earns CCC Golfer of the Week Recognition

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (April 8, 2019) – Sophomore Ryan Zogby (New Hartford, N.Y.) of the Western New England University golf team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

Zogby placed second overall in the 73-golfer field at the Rhode Island College Spring Invitational over the weekend with a 36-hole score of 151 (+9). He carded a three-over par 75 during round one action on Friday, and followed that up with a four-over 76 on Saturday.

Western New England will be right back in action next weekend at the JWU Wildcats Spring Invitational, hosted by Johnson & Wales University at Cranston Country Club in Cranston, R.I.
