Ryan Zogby Earns Third CCC Golfer of the Week Award
New Hartford, N.Y. native finished second at UMass Dartmouth Invitational
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (April 22, 2019) – Sophomore Ryan Zogby (New Hartford, N.Y.) of the Western New England University men's golf team has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Zogby earns this honor for the third time this season after posting a runner-up finish at the UMass Dartmouth Lafrance Hospitality Invitational on Friday-Saturday at Allendale Country Club in North Dartmouth, Mass.
The New Hartford, N.Y. native finished second in the 75-player field with a 36-hole score of 150. He opened the tournament with a 76 (+4) during round one action on Friday, before carding a 74 (+2) on Saturday.
Western New England tied for eighth place in the 15-team field with a score of 643 (323+320).
The Golden Bears will host the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship this Saturday-Sunday (April 27-28) at the Country Club of Wilbraham in Wilbraham, Mass.
